Do I always have to use this website to apply for a position?

Will Sunpower, Inc. keep my resume and application on file for future opportunities?
Yes. Sunpower, Inc. will keep your resume on file for one year. However, we encourage you to visit our site often to keep your search for positions with us active.

How will I be notified if I am selected for an interview?
If your skills and qualifications match a particular opportunity, we will contact you by phone and/or email to invite you to come in for an interview. Please do not call to check on resume status.

How long does it take to fill a position?
The time to fill a position varies depending on a number of factors including the type of position, the number of candidates, the hiring manager’s schedule, etc. It may take several weeks to several months to fill a position.

How will I know if I am being considered for the job?
If you are a candidate under consideration, Sunpower will be in contact with you via telephone and/or email. We are unable to process phone calls from applicants checking the status of a resume submission.

How do I know if a position is still open?
When the position has been filled or placed on hold, the posting will be removed from the Sunpower, Inc. website. If you were an interview candidate, you would have received an email and/or phone call requesting confirmation of an interview date and time.
